Ridge

Ridge is our red dog, a deep dark gold that looks like copper when the sun is low. He is June's son by an outside sire we drove to Kentucky for, and he brought in exactly what we wanted: a tighter, more athletic frame, a shorter coat that dries fast and hips that came back Excellent. He is the most biddable dog we have raised. Our oldest taught him his trick title on the back porch over one summer, mostly for string cheese. He will retrieve until your arm gives out and then fall asleep on your feet. His puppies are a good fit for active families: hikers, runners, kids who want a dog to throw for. They come darker than Boone's and a little leaner, with the same sweet Golden temperament.
